Aikyashree Scholarship 2025: This is a scholarship scheme launched by the Government of West Bengal. Aikyashree Portal 2025 Objectives

Following are the main objectives of Aikyashree Scheme (ঐক্যশ্রী স্কলারশিপ):

• To prevent students from minority communities from being deprived of education due to financial constraints. To encourage them to continue their school and college education.
• This scheme will encourage students to continue their education in areas where financial constraints are common.
• Helping students who score well but are financially weak to secure admission to competitive technical, professional, and higher education courses.
• To improve the social and economic status of minority communities, to improve their quality of life and to integrate them into the mainstream.
• Providing timely assistance to eligible candidates, simplifying the application process, and ensuring the proper utilisation of government grants.

Aikyashree Scholarship Online Application

Step 1. First, students must register for a new scholarship by visiting the WBMDFC portal.

Step 2. After registration, the student will receive their user ID and password.

Step 3. Now, log in and complete the online application Aikyashree Scholarship Form. You will need to provide your name, address, school/college details, previous exam marks, etc.

Step 4. Upload the required documents, such as the Residence Certificate and, Marksheet from the previous exam.

Step 5. After completing the application, submit the form and take a printout.

Step 6. The application will then be verified by the school/college.

Step 7. After verification, eligibility will be checked by WBMDFC.

Step 8. Upon selection, the scholarship amount is transferred directly to the bank account.

Step 9. A renewal application is required to receive the scholarship for the next year.

Aikyashree Scholarship Eligibility: ঐক্যশ্রী স্কলারশিপ কাদের জন্য

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• The applicant must be from a minority community (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain or Parsi).
• Family Income:

1. Aikyashree Pre Matric Scholarship (Classes 1 to 10): Family annual income up to a maximum of ₹2,00,000.
2. Aikyashree post matric scholarship amount (Classes 11 to PG): Family annual income up to a maximum of ₹2,00,000.
3. Merit-cum-Means and Technical Courses: Family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000.

• A minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade in the previous examination is mandatory.
• The student must be enrolled in a regular course in a recognised school, college, university or institute of West Bengal.
• Must have a minimum attendance percentage (usually 75% or more).
• Students already receiving scholarships must maintain a minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination to apply for the next scholarship.

Aikyashree Login West Bengal

Step 1. Visit the official portal ঐক্যশ্রী স্কলারশিপ.

Step 2. Click on the Student Login option. 

Step 3. Enter the User ID/Application ID and Password created during registration.

Step 5. Now, click on the Login button.

1. First, visit the official website.
2. Click on the “Track Application” or “Check Status” option on the homepage.
3. Now enter your District, Application ID/User ID, and Date of Birth.
4. Enter the Captcha Code and click Submit.
5. You will see the current status of your application (e.g., Pending, Verified, Approved, Payment Sent, etc.).

Features of Aikyashree Scheme 2025

• This scheme is for education from Class 1 to the PhD or MPhil level. Similarly, the OASIS Scholarship has been implemented for backward caste students of West Bengal.
• There are different types of scholarships. For example, pre-matric, post-matric, merit-cum-means, and special grants for technical/professional courses.
• The amount of assistance varies for “day scholars” and “hostellers.” Therefore, students who commute from home to study receive different aid. Those who live in rooms/hostels receive more assistance for additional expenses.
• There is a family income limit so that assistance is provided to truly economically disadvantaged students. This limit is typically around ₹200,000 annually for pre-matric and post-matric students. It may be slightly higher, such as ₹250,000, for technical/professional courses.
• A minimum percentage of marks or grades in the previous qualifying examination or pre-matriculation examination is required. Typically, a grade of 50% or equivalent is required.
